Project Gabriel & Respect
Project Gabriel is the Good Samaritan approach toward helping pregnant women in need. The members of St. Anthony's parish see the birth of each baby as a fresh expression of God's unfailing love; and therefore, offer immediate and practical help to any woman facing a crisis pregnancy. Through the Gabriel Project, each mother receives love, care and both the spiritual and emotional support she needs.
The angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph of the house of David and the virgin's name was Mary. And when the angel had come to her he said. "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women." Luke 1:26-28
St. Anthony's faith community is invited to respond to the mother's needs by: becoming a Gabriel angel assisting women on a one-on-one basis; organizing fund raisers; donating baby items; praying. For more information please contact: life@samckyle.org

St. Vincent de Paul Society
We are a Catholic Lay Volunteer Organization that helps the poor and those in temporary need. We are a person-to-person Catholic Ministry that sees the face of Christ in the faces of those who are suffering. Our volunteers make home visits, deliver food, pray with our friends and assist with payments of medical, prescription and utility bills. We also sponsor a Christmas Angel Tree to celebrate the birth of Christ with gifts for needy children and food for their families. For assistance please call 512-738-2234.
