Mass Attendance:
Church Decorum
Because Mass is a community celebration, we have come to realize how important it is for the welfare of all that we arrive on time for Mass. Better still, it is always wise to plan to spend some time in preparatory prayer and recollection before Mass, thus assuring our on-time arrival. Our Church has a cry room for parents with small children. Be sure to turn off cell phones and pagers. Give God one hour of focused time. Teach your children to treat our Lord's house with respect. Please don't rush out of church, wait for the celebrant to process out first.
Appropriate Attire
When one thinks of what transpires during Mass and Communion, we should want to dress for the occasion. We really should come to Church in our proverbial Sunday best. We should be well groomed and properly clothed. Cutoffs, shorts, very short skirts, certain tee shirts or tank/halter tops are out of place. Our church has comfortable heating and air-conditioning systems. Modesty of dress is a pre-requisite. Chewing gum is also inappropriate and should be discarded properly before entering the sanctuary.
